Projections of Covid variants in the US
The latest data project shows that the FLiRT variants- KP.2 and KP.3- account for almost 61.3 percent of new COVID-19 cases.
Also, the new variant, LB.1, has also started to gain pace across the US, which now accounts for almost 14.9 percent of the total news cases.
According to the wastewater data record, the CDC has noted “very high” levels of COVID-19 virus in Florida water.
Hendrix added, “Now we’re seeing more people coming in with those COVID symptoms, which are very similar to flu-like fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue,” as abcactionnews.com reported.
He added, “The pattern that we usually see is if there’s a new variant out there and a holiday, we will see an increase in cases.”
Moreover, Roberts said, “The other thing I think could potentially impact this is heat warnings. Heat warnings will send people indoors, and it will concentrate more people indoors.”
