United States: The female politician Nikki Haley, the ex-United Nations envoy and the ex-governor of the South Carolina state who recently withdrew from the Republican candidacy for the White House for the next year 2024, said she would vote for Donald Trump if he attempts to run for another term of four years presidency against Joe Biden.

Although Haley had not endorsed Trump and suspended her campaign over two months ago before Trump was his last opponent in GOP primaries, she posed a question during a Q&A session after delivering a speech Tuesday at a conservative think tank in the nation’s capital on what was Biden or Trump’s stronger suit in the area of security.
She said, “Trump has not been perfect on these policies. I have made that clear many, many times. But Biden has been a catastrophe. So, I will be voting for Trump,” as Fox News reported.
However, Haley, who has continued to get around 20 percent of the vote in Republican presidential primaries two months after ending her bid, stated that Trump would be smart to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me.”
About Haley and her presidential campaign
Haley began her bid to become the president in February of the previous year, making her the first contender to run against Trump, who declared his intent in May of the same year.
She was the last rival to Trump, out-registering the former president in both coupled and heated two-candidate battle from New Hampshire primary late in January up to Super Tuesday early in March.
On 6 March, Haley declared she was suspending her campaign for the White House presidency after Super Tuesday when Trump claimed victory in 14 out of 15 primaries in the GOP nominating calendar.
Nevertheless, Haley left no doubt when announcing her withdrawal from the race for the Republican presidential nomination that she literally meant she wanted to keep speaking out.
And up to now, Haley remains mum on supporting Trump’s candidacy.
Two months ago, when Haley got out of the presidency race, she said, “It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him. And I hope he does that,” as Fox News reported.
Reaction by Biden’s campaign
Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler said, “Nothing has changed for the millions of Republican voters who continue to cast their ballots against Donald Trump in the primaries and care deeply about the future of our democracy, standing strong with our allies against foreign adversaries, and working across the aisle to get things done for the American people – while also rejecting the chaos, division, and violence that Donald Trump embodies,” as Fox News reported.
“Only one candidate shares those values, and only one campaign is working hard every day to earn their support – and that’s President Biden’s,” he continued.
